Hi dukesdad, I was just wondering how duke is doing and if he is back to swimming with you back at the lake again? And how he acted when you went there? Susan IP: Logged |

Susan, Yes, Duke was back swimming with his pals at the lake two weeks ago. So far everyone has been on the lookout for that guy but no luck in catching him. By the way, this lake is fairly remote and located in a 7500 acre reservoir. Last Saturday we were there with the usual party pups when a fisherman passed to tell us he had spotted a pack of wild hogs not too far away. We all reeled in the dogs in case one of them caught the scent and charged after the hogs. They can easily kill a dog though I'm pretty sure Duke would give them a wide berth. I have to admit that he is really a big wuss. When he sees something strange that fur rises on his neck as he barks, then he runs and hides BEHIND me. Thanks for asking about Duke. IP: Logged |

Hi! I'm happy to hear all is back to normal again. My husband would love to be thier with gun in hand to shoot some wild pigs, he's a hunter. Again happy he's fine! Susan IP: Logged |
