He always drags that lion out in the evenings, he likes to lay on it next to me at the computer. When he was a pup I had his bed including the lion in the same spot, I guess it's just where he likes to be. Tonight I looked down at him and thought WOW! what a change..lol.
I don't think you know the lion story Susan...I took Witt to the feed store with me the same week I got him. I had my arms full of stuff..toys, chews, my purse etc. Witt was trailing behind me down the isle on a leash. When I stopped looking at the stuffs and headed for the counter, I found I was pulling him along. There was a group of people at the register looking at me and laughing, I wasn't sure if my zipper was down or they were laughing at how many toys I had for Witt. I looked back to see what he was doing that made it so hard to make progress towards the counter only to find him struggling to drag a stuffed Lion that was WAY bigger than him. He had picked out his own thing...and of course everyone at the counter insisted that I couldn't put it back, so he came home with it and has loved the thing ever since. He freaks if anyone else touches it, gets all frantic to have it back. The other dogs and cats are not allowed to go near it and he has never chewed it up. He still picks out stuffed toys that are huge only now that makes them very expensive.

Oh that is too cute I bet Witt wishes the lion would have grown with him so that he could use it as a bed still instead of just a pillow!
