I just had to share this. We have a fearless seven-month-old houhd-beagle cross named Daisy, who has the most gorgeous teeth. In an effort to keep them that way, we decided to try the Sonicare on her with an old brush head that would otherwise have gone into the trash. I expected her to freak and not let it anywhere near her mouth. I hate the way the thing vibrates, myself. Well, Daisy seems to love it. She makes half-hearted attempts to eat the brush, as if it's her doggy duty to do so. But she lets me brush all her teeth with the thing, both sides. I'm amazed. Best, IP: Logged |

ohh maybe I should try that. Jakes teeth need brushing, I also heard there is peanutbutter flavor toothpaste I would love to find. Someone here rectnly posted their dogs love their teeth brushed and get so excited when they bring out the toothbrush wish I had such luck! honeybear IP: Logged |

Actually, I'm not that surprised. Gum massage feels good to many of us also- and think of how dogs will chew on rawhide or bones for hours- I've often thought that it must be pleasurable for their gums. IP: Logged |

Yes, but have you ever used a Sonicare? It produces the strangest vibration. Makes my whole face itch! That's why I can't beliece Daisy actually likes it. J IP: Logged |
