Those of you who compete in agility with mixed breeds: do you compete in NADAC, or did you manage to get an ILP to compete in AKC trials?

I figured there was no way I could get an ILP for Nala since she is obviously a mix. But a friend is trying to get his dog that looks similar to Nala an ILP as a Border Collie. I laughed when I first found out. But people at agility class told me they call ILP "It Looks Possible" - so maybe I should try? Nala looks more like a border collie than the other dog does, although she is obviously still a mix.

Anyone have any experience with this?
