We started the pup on Innova canned food. We did mix in a small amount of Solid Gold dry, as an experiment. He loved it - especially the Innova. He's eating voraciously now. Apparently the entire problem for the last week was that he was on a hunger strike to protest various dry foods that he didn't like! All of his other symptoms have disappeared, and he's acting happy and healthy now.

Any advisement on good places to get foods like Innova in bulk quantities, for a bit lower price?

congrats! those are both great foods. Try health food stores and feed stores. my health food store carries solid gold and feed stores carry innova.
good luck and glad to hear he is eating - just takes finding something he likes

I'm happy to hear all is well now! I don't know why I never thought of our local feed store to buy food for my dogs...that's great news for me as well! I bought the puppy shots there and it never crossed my mind "says alott, doesn't it!" The Change is HELL....I blame everything on that...heheheh
