Hello as you know we went to Tahoe this weekend and rented a cabin i have been doing this every year for the last 5 years This time for some reason nala kept peeing on the floor she has NEVER done this before i was SHOCKED i thought i would have to worry about the puppies but never thought her. we were there friday, saturday and left sunday morning she WENT 5 times i couldnt beleive it. i took her out all the time while we were there like i said in my other post so many loose dogs it took 3 of us to go outside what a hassle but we did. I just dont understand what happened with Nala we have been home now for 2 days and no accidents I dont understand at all of course she is out all day at home and then when the kids come home they let her in but leave the back door open so the dogs can go out but nala is in the house at night and nothing now? i'm going to take her to the Vet but i cant do that till saturday. Maybe the 5 hour drive is just to much for her now who knows but i couldnt' beleive she did that and she felt bad she would look at me with her head down like she knew she shouldnt have done that i couldnt get mad at her i was worried that something was wrong but it is not happening here she also isn't eating like she used to and is drinking tons and tons of water she has even been drinking out of the toliet almost all the water i'm not sure what to think i will take her to the vet on saturday but till then

Any Ideas??

If she turns out to be a diabetic, I can help with questions, as I had a diabetic dog in the past.

Best wishes.

Yes, maybe she didn't want to go outside because of the other dogs. Or maybe there was some sort of odor on the cabin floor that said "bathroom!" to her - something not detectable by you or me. At least she's not doing it at home!

it could be being in the strange environment and smells and if other dogs had been there. and she smells them. In your other post you also just got another dog, and maybe it was just stress. It she continues to be good at home I wouldnt worry about it.

You mentioned the puppies. It could be that taking her to a new place with puppies could have stressed her out and caused a nervous peeping.

I would have her checked out for UTI though. Later in Chars puppying, she didn't eat as much either. I think she just got stressed out, but she went right back to normal a few days later.
