I really need help on this one. Zeus has developed a foot fetish. Neither my boyfriend nor myself can walk around the house or outside anywhere near Zeus. He attacks our feet and will not let go until we stop moving and tell him no. Well, as soon as we move again he's biting our feet again. I have tried distracting him, but the feet seem to be more important. The weird thing is, he only does it when we have shoes on. But he has no interest in shoes that don't have feet in them. Please help me save our feet...

My suggestion would be to spray your shoes with Bitter Apple. Its nontoxic but tastes really bad. Spray your shoes with it and in a few days, your pooch should stop. Good luck to you.

My Dads Sheppherd was doing the same thing! Being 75 and diabetic we were terrified of her tripping Dad and munching on his feet. In her case it was feet with or without shoes. The Bitter Apple saved Dad and she hasn't done it since! That was more than 3 months ago.

And who said dogs dont have a sense of humor
try the bitter apple if he does not like it, plus scream like he is killing you when he does it. works with my pups. If he is being dominate it wont work only make it worse but if he is just playing he should stop immediatly and look up at you like what oh im sorry

Well, I have tried the screaming thing.... He stops........ but just long enough to look at me like I am crazy!!!!!! I am not to sure yet about putting the Bitter Apple on my shoes. I am wondering if it will stain them. He is definetly a piece of work. He loves driving me nuts!! But I love him anyway. Besides the shoe thing his only other problem is walking on a leash. He does so well off leash, heeling very well, but as soon as the leash goes on, Its off to the races. I am looking into getting him one of those head harnesses. I hope it works.

try spraying him with water from a squirt bottle too then wih the scream and a no. or try distracting him with something else when he does it . sound like your baby boy found a fun new game LOL . the screaming works well with the puppies too. with my big ones i just grab the scruff and tell em no but keep trying till you find something that works for you
