I have been feeding my two dogs Innova (senior) for over a year, with terrific results. However, they have both been vomiting sporatically for over 3 weeks now, and the vet can't figure out why. I had noticed the last bag of food i bought was bi-colored kibbles and their stools smelled strongly. Icalled the company, they said they have a new processing plant and were having problems with mixing the ingredients. I exchanged the bag for a newer one, which was less bi-colored, but they are still vomiting. Has anyone else been experiencing this problem? Any suggestions for a comparable food to try next? thanks!

nope no problems here. I bought my last bag about acouple weeks ago, and am due today to buy Nico a new one as she's just about out. the kibble was all brown, and not bicolored. Hopefully the one I buy today is the same good quality. This was her first bag of Innova, as I switched her from Natures Recipe, which was decent, but the kibble was very small and she ate it too fast. I'll ask them at the shop i get it at if they've had any problems with the consistency of the food and get back to ya if they know anything.

Weird... I'm pretty sure Innova's line of dog foods should'nt be bi-colored.

Did your Vet do a stool check & take a urine sample??

Possibly even a blood test.

Maybe your dogs have been purposely consuming grass or weeds or something.

Well, if you liked to look into another company w/ similar ingredients, i'd recommend Chicken Soup 'senior'. Personally i think it's a little better, list wise.
There's also Wellness Super5Mix 'senior'.
Evolve has seemed pretty good too, but i'm not too sure if they have a senior line. I'm leaning on Yes they do...

Good Luck, & keep us posted yeah...?

I would again ask for an exchange on the bag of food if the company is telling you it shouldn't be different colored kibble.
Canidae is good, but each dog does well on different foods and switching them suddenly may get you dogs with the runs too.

I recently switched my boys to Chicken Soup, just to mix it up for them and offer a variety, it seems to be giving them gas, so I will try something new when this bag is gone.
