Yea! On Valentines, we got almost 4 inches of snow! It didn't stick to the streets, but this time it was actually SNOW not ice! Ranger loved it! I would throw snowballs and he would go and catch them, and then look for it, while trying to figure out what on earth was in his mouth! A little later, his sister came over. THey were having such a good time, only then my neighbor was coming down the street with his german shepherd, so I put them on their leashes. Well, before I know it, Ranger is trying to protect me from the German Shepherd (barking, growling, lunging, that sort of thing) while Snickers is trying to cross the street to go play with it. Well, then I lost my footing in the snow (where I was water-skiing on snow, without the skis! sounds strange, but that is what it looked like, only dogs instead of a boat!), they pulled me down on my butt in the snow, where I soon got pulled to my stomach, only thankfully the snow didn't stick to the sidewalk either, so they stopped there. Of course all of my neighbors playing in the snow got a good laugh, and I did too, as soon as the German Shepherd was gone, and I was up off the ground, that is . I had stayed relatively dry until then, too!

aargh...you can both have all the snow of mine that you want-- here in Michigan we had 40 inches of snow ABOVE the average for January- luckily February hasn't been to bad so far, but it is supposed to reach a low of -7 tonight-- ouch! It's not the funnest thing in the world to have to take Cameron out at 6 am in sub-zero temps, let me tell you!! Please just send a little of your warm winds up my way, ok?

Only if you send cold ones down our way! I wish we could have more snow, we get it MAYBE once a year. At least I don't have to let Ranger out in freezing temps. or try to walk him in one!
