I have an adorable 4 month old female pekingese whom I have been bragging on for weeks about how well she has done with potty training...But in the meantime I have been smelling this foul smell my husband, kids and I searched the house over for the culprit we even looked under the beds with the exception of mine as it is a captains bed which has drawers under it...Today I followed my little sweetie and watched her manuever her way into maybe a 20" opening if even that big beside my bed and guess what??
She went POO!! And to my utter disgust has gone poo there many many many times. We have now closed off the peke potty and she has chosen a new one under my sons bed...Is there anything at all in which I can do to get her to stop going poo under the bed besides take her out to potty which I do many times a day. Why would she only go under the beds? She is crated at night so I know she is doing it at some point during the day. If anyone has any advice I would Love It!

Don't let her out of your sight. A dog that young should ALWAYS be supervised so that they do not have the opportunity to make a mistake. If you are already taking her out a lot, then that is good. Keep her gated in a room with you, tether her to you with a lead, or crate her when you are unable to watch her and I bet she will do fine. Make sure you praise her for going in the right spot!

Also be sure to clean the pooped on area really, really well. Leave no traces of the odor as this will entice her to poop there again.

Is she home by herself during the day? Anytime that she is home alone, crate her or keep her in a small area such as the kitchen with a baby gate or something. It sounds to me like she prefers going underneath beds, so if you keep her away from any area that she could crawl under, she will probably be ok. In addition, when you are home with her, keep an eye on her at all times- leashing her to you is a good way to do this, but I always had a problem with that cause it was annoying to have a dog attached to my side all the time, so we just kept a constant eye on our dog, and if we were in a particular room, we shut the door so that she was in there with us. You don't have to do this forever, just until she earns your trust by not going in the house. With Cameron, she is finally completely housetrained with the exception of the basement- she just loves to go down there! We finally bought a gate to block it off unless we're down there with her, and it has worked like a charm.

No I am a stay at home Mom so she usually just spends the day with me she's just so sneaky, she never goes potty anywhere else in the house and it's never pee just poo.
Thanks for your advice everyone.
