I was reading somewhere that even though Labradoodles are hyped as being hypoallergenic there is no guarantee that someone will not be allergic to them. I see lots of these designer dogs in the shelter in the future when people realize they can be allergic to them as easily as any other dog.

mary you right, I have heard that people can be allergic to poodles. so true when they end up at shelters.

I just saw some of these advertised in my local paper. The ad said "Be the first to have one." That kind of irritated me, like it is some sort of status symbol or something.

Oh, and they were like $600 a pop.
