Hi
It's fairly normal for females to continue to have discharge for weeks after giving birth. As long as there is no foul odor or heavy heavy discharge. Always best have the vet check her over just in case.

HI the amount of discharge will stop usually after a few to several weeks after the birth providing this discharge does not turn a blackish foul smelling discharge then there is nothing to worry about.

My females still have discharge till around 7-8 weeks after birth it all depends on the size of the litter as this discharge coninsides with the where the placents where attached in the uterus.

if you get worried or your female becomes depressed and is off her food then a trip to the vets is best choice.

The puppies should now be on solid food and should be fully weaned by the time they are 6-8weeks old they should be fed several small meals aday.

By the time they are 8 weeks old they should be eating 3-4 meals a day reducing this to 2meals aday when the pups are 6months old.

This is all dependant on the owners decision on how often to feed them.
