I caught the end of it last night and saw the winners of the non- sporting group. I thought the Bichon Frise was ADORABLE! It looked like a stuffed animal instead of a dog with it's poofy legs Does anyone here own a Bichon? If so, is that a standard cut for them or is that just for show? That dog was SO cute!!

puggleowner, that cut is for show. I think it won last year for best of show, what a little puffball. Now hopefully I can watch it tonight

I watched it last night I saw the one before Terrier and Terrier, and Toy group. I was kinda upset that the toy poodle got snubbed, but it was ok, I thought that the Pekignese was very.. ummm.. fluffy.. my friend has a pekignese but he doesnt have fluffy hair like that! There was one dog, it was... umm.. i dont freakin know.. lol.. it was white and the first one in the second half of the toy show, and it had a black bow its its hair and it just flowed as she ran. It was absolutely adorable! She got snubbed too tho!
O well, I am watching again tonight! I am hoping that one day I will get to go to Westminister, and perhaps participate in it one day! (A girl can dream right?) lol

I just read on USA today they think the new foundland will win. they had pics - what a beautiful dog!, I am partial and would like to see him win or another big dog since most of the wins have been the smaller dogs over the years. (nothing against them though)

I have no idea how they choose the winners. They are ALL so beautiful!

Incidentally, at the TTouch seminar I went to, one of the girls there was the top junior handler of German Shepherds in the U.S. I thought that was pretty cool!

looks really hard, like the terrier that won this week-end at the eukanauba, I thought the dogs was ugly, some kind of small terrier and the judge said she had all of the qualities they look for. they said they think the new foundland will win because he won best of his class last year with this judge who is the best of show judge this year - so will be interesting
