Hi! Dukesdad, I've been wondering about Duke and how he is doing. Also, how is your friends dog too? I'm still in shock over what happened to them! I keep hoping and praying that they find that "monster" soon before he hurts someone else's pet or even someone else period! My prayers are still with you! just wanted you to know that.

You said in your last post that you would be going back to the lake this last weekend, did you go? and if so! how did it go?

Sincerely, Susan

Susan,
Thanks for asking about Duke. He gets those stitched out Wednesday and the cut looks healed already. My friends dog is doing OK also.
I did go to the lake Saturday to distribute a "Wanted Poster" we created to warn others to be on the lookout. Took Freckles with me but had to leave Duke at home because I did not want him in the water yet and it would have been too cruel to keep him on the leash while watching his buddies swim. He should be back in the water in another 10 days.

Ok... first off thanks for helping me out! lol.. I read the post and I would personally like to say that the man that did that deserves to get punished severely. I realize that some people are only interested in their particular animal, and they dont like anyone elses.. but he was WATCHING the dogs play! It makes no sense for him to do that. I realize that he will probably get a mere slap on the wrist (pay a fine or spend a few weeks in jail) but it still makes me so mad! Duke is a lovely dog! He is just so cute! And he looks like hes been spoiled with the best of them! I know how he must feel not being able to swim with his friends...
well i just thought id write a little bit to say how sorry i was about duke and max ( i think thats right) HOPE HE FEELS BETTER!
