URGENT! Before 2 weeks we had visited a friend to see the new puppy he had brought to his home. Unfortuanlly that puppy had Parvo and died in 4 days. In the meantime we had a litter of husky puppies...out of a litter of 5 puppies...only one is still alive... we are very sad, but also in panic!!! I have cleaned everything with chlorin, but I also have carpets in my house! How do I clean them, in order to be sure that I have killed the virus???
An immediate answer is needed, since we also have the 3 month old puppy from the litter, but also a 6 month old puppy, that is vaccined, but we are worried, incase something happens and to them!

I am so sorry to read this but there is not a lot you can do. You may want to go to this site www.ambertech.com but you well find most all the sites say the same thing. We keep our guys up to date with there shots so we were not as worried about them. Very little well kill the Parvo virus bleach does help but as to your carpet we used Gold Bond powder don't know if it did anything but we just had to try. I don't no what the weather is in your area, but if there is snow and ice like here you are in for a lot of work cleaning outside. Try to clean up one spot of all the ice and snow and bleach it. Be sure not to do it on ice or in the snow so dogs eat it. Confine your pets to one area that has been cleaned and remember you can carry it on you shoes and feet, hands, toys, throw out toys and food bowels get new ones. Can one over react not in my opinion.Better safe then sorry. Get disaffection wipes at your local drug store and wipe down other guys. US bleach right from the bottle and then a 50/50 mix there after be sure to dry where other pups are to go and change and clean water, food bowl in very hot water.
I'll say prayer for you.

Thank you very much for your immediate answer!!! Right now in Greece we have alot of sun and the tempature is quite high (10-15oC), which - from what I've been reading - is good. The puppies had done 2 shots, but they had also immediate exposion to the virus! You see, we had kept the puppies until 3 months old, so they could stay more with there mother....though people wanted them at 2 months old... So the first puppy was infected, that day we were at work, it had dyaria, the rest played and stepped in the dyaria...and each day we had a loss, though they were immediatly seperated and everything was cleaned...
I will order the 2 products you are suggesting, but since I can find them only in the USA, I hope nothing happens till I get them.
I can't believe somthing like this happened to us, with all the attention and care we have been giving our babies!
Thank you again for everything! I will keep you informed.
