The article says that some good sources for Taurine are Meat,fish and eggs....Natures Variety kibble says "Fresh meat is the first ingredient in each formula. Meat and organs make up nearly 40% of the ingredients in each production batch of Nature’s Variety. Most dry, kibble diets are 25 to 30% meat or meat and bone products with some formulations even containing less than 10% or even no meat products. Formulated to meet the needs of all life stages."...now if this is true, then wouldn't there be taurine in the food? There is also Menhaden fish, Salmon Oil and Whole Eggs listed in the ingredients...so why does it say 0% for Taurine?

Im thinking this may just be a typo on their website because the Chicken formula lists .06% taurine but the beef and lamb both list .00%. Maybe you can send them an email and ask to find out for sure?

Also, I don't think taurine is yet recognized as an essential nutrient in dog foods by the AAFCO so some companies may not add it or attempt to ensure that their dog foods contain it.
