The police said today there was little chance of finding the man who slashed Duke unless he is stopped on any other violation. That plate number is in the system and will pop a red flag if he is stopped. Since it was a stolen plate my guess is he has already changed that plate if he saw us writting it down.
This weekend we are going out to the lake to distribute flyers to warn other people to be on the lookout and call the police if he shows up. Also NOT to let their dogs near him.
Duke is doing fine and will have those stitches removed next Wednesday.

Oh now that ticks me off... If I EVER meet up with him or see him....I'll handle it.
I think we aught to all train our dogs to carry pocket knifes and hunt him down to see how he likes it!!!
Not really, but it sounds good to me!

The Vet recommended using Hydrogen Peroxide if needed but the wound looks like it's healing well with no sign of redness. It's also in a location where Duke can neither lick nor scratch it. I'm sure that is driving him crazy but I have not noticed him trying to scratch at it.
Thanks for all of your comments and support. Hopefully I will be able to report soon that they have caught this creep.

Well it sure has been a pretty awful week for a lot of us. Hopefully we have got all that out of our systems and we can have a good week next week!

I'm glad Duke is feeling better!
