It did not work. My friends puppy kept happily eating her poop regardless of the licorice. They tried it for 2 weeks.

Rosies Mom,

My Abbey also did this until she was apparox 6 months old. I believe it is something they do as puppies. Abbey is 8 months and no longer eating her poop.
FYI, I feed her Wellness Dry Puppy food, with a teaspooon of Wellness canned food with every serving. Maybe this helps?
