I don't know if there are any pug owners on this boards but my pug has been getting ulcers and throwing up yellow stuff. She was on medicine for 30 days but when they ran out she threw up again. I don't know what to do.

Hi Klambros, welcome to the board. I have a 1/2 pug- she is 1/2 beagle, 1/2 pug but looks a lot like a pug and has "puggish" tendencies and a few related health problems. She has a sensitive stomach and we have had issues with her as well. Cameron used to have yellow mucas in her stools, and we finally figured out it was whipworm and were able to treat it. Is your vet sure it is ulcers? In other words, they have actually found them? I would talk to your vet right away and tell her the situation. Maybe a different type of medication is required or you may need to give an extra dose of what your pug is currently on. What is the medication, by the way? We have had Cameron on Albon on several occasions when she has had bouts of diarriah, and sometimes we had to go back and get another few days worth because it took a little longer for the meds to work for her.

Cameron has never had ulcers that we know of, but I think some of hte other members on this board have had issues with them, so hopefully they can offer advice as well.
