What does Catnip do to a dog when the dog eats the catnip treats? My dog loves them and will beg for them and my cats could care a less about it...they like the loose catnip...is it ok for dogs to have???? Is it safe for my dog??? Feel Free To Email me...Thanks! IP: Logged |

Good question, I have no idea but I've never heard of Catnip being dangerouse to dogs....hopefully someone else will know for sure. Both of my dogs try to eat the catnip I give to my cats. Im not sure if they are actually attracted to it or if they just want it because the cats are having it. IP: Logged |

no catnip is basically the same form of protiene found in meat... so it attracts them via the smell and gives them energy boost.. not harmfull at all... my dogs eat my cat food and cats eat dog food and they are all healthy so i would;t worry IP: Logged |

Welcome crafty: I don't know about the catnip, just wanted to say hello from San Pedro. Squidgy: I have read that cat food is not good for dogs, way too much protein or taurine in it. Though not sure about the opposite. Probably not enough protein in dogs food for cats. My sisters poodle gets into the cats food and vomits often. probably too rich. ------------------ [This message has been edited by puttin510 (edited 01-26-2004).] IP: Logged |
