Yesterday I took the puppy (4 mos) to the vet for his last parvo shot and his kennel cough vaccine. I brought him home and he was fine. He ate some lunch. Then he ran around while I was using the leaf blower. But then he didn't eat his dinner. Maybe one bite but that was it. This is very unusual for the puppy. I left it out overnight to see if he would eat it and he didn't. But then this morning I gave him breakfast and he ate it?!

Do you think maybe he was having vaccine reactions? He didn't have any reactions to the first 4 parvos but the kennel cough vaccine is new?

Maybe his teeth are hurting him? He hasn't lost any of his puppy teeth yet. I'm not sure when that is supposed to happen but I figured it was sometime around now.

My last idea is maybe I am feeding him too much. I'm in the process of switching him over to California Natural. I haven't exactly been very precise in my measurements. I know I'm supposed to feed him less of that than the EaglePack. but I don't know why he wouldn't eat ANY of it.

Do you think I should take him to the vet? Since he ate his breakfast, do you think I should just monitor him today? I'm just worried to wait b/c today is Sat and the vet isn't open Sun.

I would watch him and make sure he is drinking water and otherwise acting normally. He could have been sore or not feeling well from the shots.

If it makes you feel better, call the vet and ask if you should be concerned. He will probably tell you to just watch him.
