my friends dog got hit and killed by a car the other day. her mom told my mom who told me. i am spending the night with her and i don't know if i should mention it or what to say if she brings it up. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

What I would do is let her know you are there for her and if she needs anything at all you are there to listen. Alot of grief- stricken people just want someone to listen. Good luck with your friend. She is lucky to have you.
