My mum rings me at work today and says that Jaspers paw is a little saw and that she looks like she has broken her nail in half, (the one that is up her leg a little bit?. She doesn't cry when i touch it and she doesn't seem to be in pain, but she keeps licking it all the time. I know that his must be hurting her. I rang the vet and she said just to keep an eye on it over night, and to take her up in the morning, if need be and if it's split straight up the middle, she might need to get it removed....poor little darling...I hate seeing her in pain. The vet said to also bandage it as it might stop her from irritating it all the time...Let's see, I had the bandage on her for about 20 mins and when i went out the back, it was chewed in little pieces......LOL. Anybody had anything like this happen to their dog??? I'm a little sad for her, cause I hate seeing her in pain...
