Hello, I am new here and my yellow lab just given birth to 11 pups and i was wondering why is she shedding alot of hair and it seems like she is balding. Also I notice small wounds on her body. is this normal? And will her breast really sag like that and will they ever return to normal? Btw she is still nursing her kids.

HI, When Did Your lab Give birth?
Some Bitches only shed Around the teats some have an all over body shed this is due to the change in hormone levels in there body.

What do you mean by wounds on her body if these are on her teats this is normal for older puppies as they fight over teats.

All bitches breast's sag during lactation and will return to normal once all pups have stopped feeding and she is back to her regular exercise like walks and running.

It took my bitches after they had there litters and the pups stopped feeding about 3-4 weeks and they were back to normal.
