It all depends on the time you have to spend with the dog, what kind of environment you live in. If you have children, other animals in the house, etc. Are you looking for a large dog, small dog, puppy, adult, there is alot to consider when getting a dog and they are alot of work and cost alot of money with vet bills, food, toys, training, grooming etc. Maybe doing some research on what breed best fits your living situation and also dont forget about your local shelter they have many wonderful loving dogs there. Hi! Maybe you should try petfinders on the web, or your local shelters. Take into concideration what 3dogsihave said. Good luck! Susan IP: Logged |

I thought maybe I should explain a little further. If you want a small breed dog, thier are many to choose from. Look at a breed book or get a small mix. The choices are endless!!! It really depends on what you want, and the temperment of the breed you choose. I know that some small breeds are hard to house train and others are not. Perhaps go to the toy dogs board and ask them what they think you should get. I have a mini dauchshund that I love to death, but she was hard to house train. Good luck to you! Susan IP: Logged |
