Hey, my puppy is 4mos old. Recently I noticed he had lost a tooth on the bottom. Now, he's missing a few teeth. Is this normal? I understand that puppies loose teeth, but is it supposed to be more than one at a time? Help me b/c Im concerned. Thanks! IP: Logged |

from what i understand puppies are like kids they loose their teeth i'm pretty sure it's ok to loose more then one at a time. My baby is 1 year old and her baby k-9's never fell out now she has 8 k-9 teeth and i have to get 4 of them pulled IP: Logged |

Hi, welcome ![]() Yeah, it's perfectly normal for them to lose a few at a time. My pups lost 2 a day for 3 days now, bless him. It seems every time I look round there's blood on something he's been chewing. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the information. I was worried that he had bitten down on the wrong thing ) I'm okay now. However, now he's marking his territory and I think that's a little premature-why is he doing this? He's also doing a little "leg humping" I guess I'm getting it all in one breath!IP: Logged |

Are you sure he is only 4 months old? Did you get him from a shelter? I know we have had threads about "humping" problems before. I think the consensus was that some dogs do it and some do not. I don't know if is "normal" to be marking territory that young - perhaps someone else can jump in on that one. I would get the little guy neutered asap. He's old enough now, and there's no reason to wait and there seems to be lots of reasons to NOT wait!
