I just read something I didn't know. It said that a housetrained dog might not define "house" the same way you do. Most dogs seem to define "house" as where you spend most of your time and therefore the pack scent is strongest. Some dogs only have "accidents" in a back room that isn't used very often. Then they smell their urine in that spot and it's like having a sign on the door that says "Doggy Restroom." So the advise was to not only clean the spot with an enzymatic odor neutralizer, but also to spend a little time in that room with your dog. Just sit and read a book for an hour or so for a couple days or something. Then the room will smell more like "house" and less like "bathroom."
