Congrats! Ginger is a great name. You can do a search on "baby names" for more ideas if you want.

My puppy (well, I suppose she is slowly exiting puppyhood as she is 9 months, but man she still acts like a puppy) is 1/2 beagle- they are wonderful dogs! One word of advise- most beagles have lots and lots of energy and they LOVE to investigate anything and everything. Give your little one plenty of walks, and when she gets a little older, she'll love runs, and make sure to keep anything small that could fit in her mouth OUT OF HER REACH, unless you want her to consume it Cameron has even attempted eating things way too large for her mouth, such as cell phones, glasses, wallets, the list goes on Congrats on your new puppy, I know you will grow to love Ginger very much!

I read that pups shouldn't do strenuous exercising until they are full grown so start out slow at first. Congrats on your new puppy! Beagles are great dogs!
