Do you have a registered Dog?
Does it have excellent standards for its breed?
Has your veterinarian run all the standard tests for Hip, Eye, Ear?
Have your researched the breed so you know how to choose the proper male to breed the dog with?
Most of all:
Do you have 24/7 to be with the dog?
Do you have access to a veterinarian 24/7?
Just some questions to learn a little more about your situation. THis isn't even a fraction of the things you need to do and have done before breeding her.

Hello yes i have 2 registared Yorkies from different litters my male is 1 year 5 months and my female is 1 year they have an excelent family tree my vet has checked everything and they are great my male has a little bit of an underbite i can be with the dog for 24/7 and i can always get ahold of a vet they are always on call. She was in heat and they were trying but she is a little taller then him i'm not sure if they ever tied or not but i'm not sure how long they stay in heat cuz they are not trying anymore but her boobs are getting bigger (they were trying in the middle of december to Jan. 3) and i'm not sure if they get bigger because of being in heat.

Well. They have a cycle that comes around 1.5yrs. Its best to breed them no sooner than 2, especially for a small dog.
For the first 3 days she will become swollen and bleed. During this time she will not stand for the male. After she quits bleeding she will begin to secrete a whitish/ clear slime. During this time (aproxx 3 days) she will stand for breeding.
The Dog will stay "locked up" with her any where from 30 min, to 3 hrs. During this time he is ejaculating and fertilizing the eggs.

Most dogs will quit after he has bred the bitch, however, some males are more aggressive and will continue to breed until the female refuses to stand any longer.

If it has been that long, she may have gotten bred. However her nipples getting bigger may be a sign, You should take her to the vet to check for a sucessful pregnancy.

However if she's not bred, she will come into heat again in 21 days. If she is not bred then, she will not come back in heat for 4-6 months. And every 4-6 months she will come into heat until bred. After whelping, 8wks she will come into heat, if not bred, she will come into heat 2 more times 21 days appart, unsuccessful breedings and she will then go for the 4-6month routine.

I've heard that Yorkies have a hard time during birthing. So please have a vet handy during her last few days.

An underbite is a genetic defect. I wouldn't recommend breeding him. He can pass this on to his offspring and so on and so forth. Doing nothing but adding faults to the breed.

You can read more about this and any other fertilization and gestaion questions at AKC.Com or DogBreedInfo.com
