Okay here are the long awaited pictures of my mom's catahoula. Okay so Maisey is probably the only one who has been waiting for them! I put also put in a picture of 2 of her cats, her other dog, and one of my brother's puppy.

Roosevelt is a Newfoundland? I thought they were those huge, black bear-like dogs.

They are all so cute! I love the names, too. I will have to get in touch with you the next time we have to name a pet.

Newfoundlands can either be black or black and white. The black and white color is called landseer. He is mixed with something but they don't know what b/c they got him from a shelter. He looks just like a Newfoundland puppy though. They have friends that used to own Newfoundlands, thats how they figured out what he was. The shelter had advertised him as a border collie mix. The fact that he weighed 18 lbs at 8 weeks made them think that he wasn't a border collie mix!

Between my herd, my mom's pets, and my brothers pets I have a wealth of resources for pet names. You seem to be doing a good job of naming yours though.

How many boys and girls, Susan? I have a whole list of names that I add to all the time. The newest additions are on my notepad at work, though...

We had to name 10 baby mice last year. That was a job!

I showed my mom the pictures of Witt. We both think he looks a lot like Bou just different colored markings. Also Bou's nose is a little thinner.
