Hi, I have a cocker spaniel she is 7 and weighs 25 lbs. I was wondering how many greenies we should feed her a week?? She LOVES greenies. It is so cute when we go to the pet store, she finds the box of greenies and carries one around the store in her mouth!! She will get mad at my mom when she takes it away to pay for it!! LOL,
thanks for your help!!

On the package for the medium sized greenies that we give our 24 pound dog, it says you can feed them 1-2 a day, but suggests reducing their regular food by about 10% when you do feed them that many. Lately Cameron has been eating on average 1 a day, and she has been fine.

how can people afford to give their dogs one to2 greenies a day. Ihave 2 large dogs and at $3.00 a pop, that would be $12 a day!

I don't feed Greenies at all, they can be harmful and stain everything.

I use Denta bones, and my dogs are about 35-45 lbs...they get one Med. bone a week.

I have never had any problems with Greenies staining things. Maybe Nala just eats them too fast. I try not to give her one every day - she probably gets 3-4 per week depending on how many times I need the short break a Greenie gives. She has been getting less since I bought the jumbo bully sticks from bullysticks.com.

After what everyone else has said, I will give the denta bones a try and see how those go.

I have never had a problem of them staining things either. Megan eats a regular size one in about 5 minutes!! LOL! I also feed her dentabones, she likes those too, and she loves jumbones. It is funny how fast she eats them!! LOL Thanks for replying!!

Is a Dentabone the same thing as a Nylabone dental bone?
