My dogs are not that cooperative although they do love to go on walks. My dobie freezes into statue dog position whenever you start messing with her like wiping her feet when she goes in the house, wiping her coat, bathing her, going to the vet when he examines her. It's like she is frozen into place. So I have to lift her big ole feet and put them in the harness. My other two dogs that are together get so spastic and goofy when I go in to harness them up I don't know if I will ever get to the point they will lift their feet up. Maybe some day, it would certainly help!
