We had a freak snowstorm here Monday that dumped 2feet of snow. We dont get snow here, well I have been nervous, because I am watching my parents shitzu and she loves being outside in the snow. She has been to our house several times and never gets too close to our pool but I kind have been keeping an eye on her when she is outside

Well the news this morning was just giving a warning this morning that vets had reported several dogs had died of drowning in pools because of the snow. Apparently It messes up their depth perception because of the contrast, they get disoriented and fall in. So I now I am so relieved I have been watching her while she is outside.
