Hi Everyone, I've been so busy lately, that I haven't had a chance to let you know how Casey is doing. Good news! it's not cataracts...Thank God! I've never heard of this before, but! it's due to her pregnancy, and nursing. Now that she only nurses the pups once or maybe tiwce a day, one eye has turned back to pretty golden brown, and the other is half way there. I'm so thankful! I was truly worried....

But bad news on another front. I have to give Freebie (the shi tzu) back to my sister. He barks all the time, and my Husband sleeps during the day. I have tried all i know to do, to stop this behavior, but I work all day and am not here. I'm going to miss him so much!!! I have fallen in love with him. But at my sister's house, someone is home all day to give him attention, and I will still be able to see him. I'm heartbroken though! I know Casey will miss him too. Thanks for all the advise, and the puppies are thriving.....Susan

P.S. I go part time in two weeks, but still don't know what to do about the barking...

Hi again! My husband has decided that Freebie's not going anywhere! Guess he doesn't have the heart to let him go after all...Thank You Lord!

Both of Casey's eye's are Golden Brown again....

My kids didn't get to come for Christmas due to that bad flu that's going around, so I still don't know how to post the pics...I realy want you all to see them! I'll have to go out to the garage, and try to find the disc to download it, and do it myself. I'm sure I can figure this thing out somehow!!!

Sincerely, Susan

Susan,
glad to hear all is well. I would love to see a pic of those pups they must be adorable. I have two poms and just love the breed. Although my neighbor has a doxie that practly lives on my front porch when my girls are in heat. Need to get them fixed before we have any accidents. (your pups were doxie/pom mixed right?) Anyway rambling again, have a great new year and glad casey is doing better.

Hi susan i am so glad casey is back to her normal self the puppies must be lovely little things now.

Just goes to show that even though you were worried when casey was expecting you got through it all with flying colours.

Guess your husband has fell in love with freebie aswell thats why he dont want him going anywhere.

Is freebie close to you as if this is the case when your leavinbg the house to goto work he is getting upset that you left him simply leave an old blanket or old piece of clothing with your scent on it and he should be ok and the barking should stop.

Mike

Susan, my parents have a shitsu that barks all of the time. They got a bark collar. She only wore it about a week and now knows what it does, so then my parents would put it on her without the battery when she would act up and she just knew what would happen with it on so she didnt bark. now she only occasionly barks and my parents rarely have to use it. Just a thought since many people are against the collars

Hi Honeybear, Does the collar hurt him? I don't want to hurt him. (although i think my husband would sometimes) if it's just something that startles him, I may do something like that, but I'm a real softy! can't handle the thought of hurting him, even it is to train....Thanks for the info, will wait on reply....Susan

Hi again! I took the pics of the puppies with my digital camera, now I just have to find that darn disc. We just moved here a few months ago, so alott of stuff is still in boxes in the garage. But I had another thought!!! I could mail the pics to my daughter, and she can scan them. I'll give her the sight to post them on....I may be illiterate when it comes to this new fangled stuff, but I'll figure out someway for you all to see them....heheheheh....HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Susan

I dont believe in the bark collar i always try other methods of stopping a problem before resorting to something like that.

But then again i have never used one the only time my dogs wear any sort of collar is when they going for there walks.

Hi Mike, He has stopped the out of control barking, I'm sot sure what my husband did, but he doesn't bark all day like he used to. I don't think I would have tried that collar anyway! Don't know enough about it...Susan

Hey Mike, They already do! but Dave seems to tollerate them a little better. I have a question.....Freebie is very jelous of Casey, every time she tries to come near me, he jumps in my lap. I make him get down and pay attention to my girl. Is this o.k.? They both get played with....Susan
