well sort of..... We had a hail storm, it started out with pea sized hail and got bigger until everything was white, it was so loud it was deafening! Then it froze so it looks like it snowed. =) IP: Logged |

It rained buckets yesterday. Then towards the evening it was windier than *ell itself. My poor lime tree that I've been nursing along kept knocking over. It's in a large pot. My dogs got to try to open their gifts, love their new toys and their greenie chewies. Sasha my poodle had her first kiss. Herseys that is. It worried me, but I fed her and she was fine. ------------------ IP: Logged |

We had a wonderful pile of snow until about 2 days before Christmas then it poured and all went away. I would've love to have a white christmas but then again this nice warm weather (high 30's) is great for a NY winter! IP: Logged |

This is probably the first Christmas in a long time that there wasn't snow on the ground. We had about 5 inches a few weeks ago, and Ellie loved it!! She didn't know what to do! Tito (the new mini chi) hasn't experienced the snow yet. It was about 45 degrees on our Christmas...bummer! IP: Logged |

Their feet probably do get cold but they don't stay out in the snow that long. They love the snow. The previous snow fall was much heavier and I had to make them come back in the house. The snow clings to the dogs fur and you have to pull it out. It looks like little snow balls stuck to the underside or their legs and belly. So I try not to let them play in it too long because I have to comb the snowballs out of their fur. They don't like that part too much. Since they are so little they normally end up soaking wet from head to toe. IP: Logged |

I woke up to 2 feet of snow yesterday. We never get snow and these storms happen at about every 30 years. The dogs just loved it. The cat doesnt know what to think of it. I am watching my parents shitzu while he is in the hospital (they live in oregon) and me in CA. well Misty just loved it she wasnt cold at all, bouncing around like a rabbit. I couldnt get her to come in, she was having such a blast. Honeybear IP: Logged |
