My wrist is doing much better! Thank you all for asking! Nala and I had a very exciting past couple of weeks/days! Last Monday the 14th or so my boyfriend and I broke up. Well I had a plane ticket booked already for Thursday the 18th to go back to Philadelphia! So Nala and I packed up all of our stuff and fly the whole 5 hour flight home! It took us an hour just to check her in and cost only $200. I was so happy to see that when we got up to the counter to check her in there was a yellow lab that was also on the flight so she had a buddy!
The flight was an over nigt one so we got in at 6am and it was 30 degrees outside!!! All I wanted to do was to see her! When we arrived to get our louggage they made an annoucement (beucase it was taking so long for all of it to come up) that there was an unusual amount of dogs on the plane! In the mean time my mom is waiting at the odd size items pick up and she over hears this businness man curising becuase his luggage is taking so long and F the dogs! Thank goodness I did not hear this or I sure as hell would have given him a piece of my mind!
So we waited for about 15 mintues that they brought her up on a cart with the other dog! She looked like she was in shock! I opened her kennel right up and she just walked right into my lap! I wanted to cry! She was all druged up on the vets medication and her eyes were all red! I just kept peting her and kissing her and getting her warm becuase California was a lot warmer than were we went to! But she is fine now! Nala loves my moms house! She has new things to smell and a lot more room here. She has never seen squirrels and she loves running after them! I got her all new stuff when we got here, new bones, toys etc. She made the adjustment very well and my whole family loves her!
Well Happy Holidays to all have a safe and good one!
Leslie

Glad you all made it safe & sound!!

Hi Leslie, I'm sorry to hear about your break up. And right at Christmas too! But it sounds like you are doing fine and Nala has adjusted well, that's good to hear. What a jerk that man at the airport was! I'm glad he had to wait!!!! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! Susan
