I had a peek-a-poo for almost 11 years and she died 12-9-2003. I miss her terribly and I would like to have another. However, I got her from a pet store on the east coast and now I can't find one like her. She was a teacup. At her healthiest weight she weighed 5 pounds. I've not seen any that small listed anywhere. Could she have possibly been something else or do they just not breed them that small anymore? IP: Logged |

Peekingnese are usually around perhaps about 12 pounds and up. Maybe she was mixed with a shitz-zu They are pretty small. There are some poo-cross forums on Yahoo.com. Maybe they can help you find one. I have a mini poodle and terrier mix. I frequent the forum over there. ------------------ IP: Logged |

My maltese/poodle mix is 7 pounds. The trick is that her mother was a small malti-poo and her father was a tiny poodle. IP: Logged |

Search the shelters in your area and don't forget to visit www.petfinder.com you will find many poodle mixes there - you may even be lucky to find a pek poodle cross. These poor pooches all desparately need homes! IP: Logged |
