My puppy is now 4 months old & still has one undescended testicle. I've heard that if the testicle hasn't descended by four months then it never will, but I've also heard that pups sometimes have "bouncers" that eventually move into the scrotum permanently. Has anyone ever had this happen to a dog of theirs & did the testicle ever move into place? I've had two different vets check my boy--- one vet found both testicles & the other only found one.

This occurs alot. My mother-in-laws chiuahuha's didn't drop until he was a year old.

I would just keep an eye on it, and if you feel he's acting diffrently in anyway, take him back to the vet. I'm sure their both there, and most dogs can live with it like that, but there are problems that can happen.

Yeah, Ranger's that way. Sometimes both will be there, and sometimes one or both will have disappeared (assuming I looked at the correct place when the vet showed me!).
