Has anyone seen the new TV show called something like National Dog Championships...it started on the east coast, competitors did agility, diving, disc and jumping. Last week I missed most of it but it was in the mid states and was swimming, hiking, biking..kind of like a triathalon both dog and owner competed. I really like it and hope it sticks around. I think it will culminate in a national show of all the states that competed before. IP: Logged |

Yeah, That sounds real-cool! I hope they have something like that around here... I'd definatly train & enter it !! I remember seeing something on the News, but if i remember right, it was only jogging/running (both dog and man). Keep Us Posted On It "Anybody" . IP: Logged |

Yes, I did watch that show. They had three teams (green, yellow and red) with three people and three dogs in each team. At one point they had to hike up a big mountain and at the finish line there was a bunch of snow and the dogs were just loving it! They were so cute rolling around in that snow. Those dogs had so much talent. I couldn't believe how well trained they were. IP: Logged |

I think it is on Pax TV...not sure what channel that is for you. I think the diving looks like something Dooley would love to do, except I noticed that the labs ..who weigh twice as much as he does seemed to have an advantage over the smaller border collies. They talked briefly about the weight issue. Dooley only weighs 45.5 pounds. IP: Logged |
