Hello...I looked up Burns Pet Foods, there is a link below.
http://www.burns-pet-nutrition.co.uk/

Here is one of the labels:
"Brown Rice & Chicken is suitable for all adult dogs, and because it is low in protein and oil is ideal for the older dog . It is naturally preserved with vitamin E and Rosemary oil, contains no wheat, soya, added colourings, beef or dairy ingredients, artificial flavourings or preservatives, and no genetically modified ingredients.
We guarantee that no battery raised chicken are used in our products, and that the chicken is free of antibiotics or growth hormones.

Analysis: Protein 18.5%, Oil 7.5%, Fibre 2.2%
contains Brown Rice, Chicken, Oats, Peas, Chicken Oil, Sunflower Oil, Seaweed, Minerals and Vitamins."

I got curious because the name sounded familiar so I checked in my Whole Dog Journal and there it was! The companies Brown Rice and Ocean Fish dog food formula made the Whole Dog Journals 2003 Top Dry Foods list. The list doesn't look at EVERY food made out there...but if something IS on the list I feel confident that it's a decent food. I like the criteria by which they pick or eliminate foods.

Check out www.wholedogjournal.com or go to www.greatdanelady.com. Both show list of approved, human grade dog food to keep your dog healthy and hopefully less vet trips.
