My name is Dakota and I need some answers. Im hoping you can help me with something that I cant figure out. My sister had a puppy named Tito. He was a healthy, playful, fun pup. A few days ago he got sick. He became very tired looking, he wouldn't eat and he was very slow. We didn't understand what was wrong. Then yesterday morning when my sister got home he died in her arms gasping for air. I want to know what happened to our Tito. PLEASE if you can help me out , or give me information or advise. My email adress is EatMyGarbage@trust-me.com or AIM me on my screenname VivaLaKota69. I would truly appreciate your help.

I'm very sorry to hear about the puppy, it's never easy losing them. I don't think anyone here will be able to tell you for sure what happened with the puppy. Puppies are small and very fragile when they get sick, it takes a very short period of time for things to go from bad to worse. They dehydrate easily and quickly. It could have been Parvo, a type of canine influenza...alot of things. There seems to be a rash of puppies succumbing to illness the last month or so on this board. Was the puppy taken to a vet? Did the vet not offer a diagnosis?
You do need to do some research, bringing a new puppy into the house may result in the same ending if the puppy did indeed have Parvo or some other contagious disease, as some of these diseases can live in the environment for a very long time and re-infect other animals.
