Hi Silka, I don't know anything about home cooked foods for dogs that you posted about in the food for thought thread. I am feeding raw foods. Since nobody has answered I will look around and see what I can find. Are you wanting a complete balanced meal or just wanting to know what you can supplement kibble with?

Here is an excellent book to read about home cooked diets.
Dr. Pitcarins Complete Guide To Natural Health For Dogs and Cats.

It is so indepth and breaks down everything you need to know about feeding nothing but a home cooked diet as well as supplementing. It covers dog and cat nutrition and how to give them everything their bodies need.

I believe it is a must read for anyone who really cares about their pets nutrition.

He even breaks down commercial diets and their lables so that you can truly understand them and know exactly how much nutrition your dog is gaining by their food.

I found a couple links for you, some seem to strictly believe that feeding cooked foods is best some feed both cooked and raw, I did NOT read through all of the sites information so I'm not saying I agree or disagree or that they are good or bad...just putting the links up for you to read and decide.
