My dog Ginger is a 1 1/2 year old Lhasa apso. She has recently been changed her living area to the kitchen and her sleeping area above the stairs. She has been trained to poop in the kitchen on her matt. A short distance away is her food. Recently she would poop and than carry it to her bed and eat it. Is this due to a closure of space??? Is there anything I can give her to stop eating her soil???? She cannot come back into the houshold for a while due to an infant. Can you please HELP????

Maybe she is bored or just trying to keep her "living area" clean? There are a few products such as Deter or Forbid that are supposed to curb this behavior...I have'nt tried them so Im not sure how well they work.
