Yay!! The college where I work and the kids' school are closed today! Woohoo!

I still got Nala up at 5:30am because they were slow posting the closings I needed. But I got pictures of her gallumphing in the backyard. Or I tried to anyway. Hard to get pictures of a moving dog. I am burning them to a CD now and then I will post some.

Too bad I spent all yesterday making dozens of cookies for my daughter's Girl Scout cookie exchange this afternoon, which will now be cancelled. More cookies for us!

Errrr, how long should I let her stay outside playing with the kids? Will her little toes get too cold? She doesn't appear to be cold, but I don't want her to get frostbitten or something!

Jimiya - Wylie who has very little coat and a short hair can stay out up to 1 few hours if she is active without getting cold. Just make sure whne she comes in she is dried off off and dreid reall good so she doesnet get chilled. It all depends ont he dogs

I think she will let you know when she is too cold, if you are worried put some baby socks on her. I'm jealous...I want snow!

I wish we had snow in California! Well not where I am! But my dogs when I was a kid LOVED the snow! I wish my Nala and your Nala could enjoy it together!
