My Staffy pup "Jack" is only 8 weeks old,
the other night he was sleeping on my lap.His toung was hanging out and he was deep in sleep breathing heavy, has anyone else had this with therie pup/s and is the tounge thing natural?

Hi, That's perfectly natural, Dont worry! that's how dogs keep themselves cooled down. They pant, it's like thier body thermometer. Panting regulates thier body tempature. I don't know how else to say that, but don't worry! Puppy is fine. At least thats what I think...You'll get more info here...Take care! Susan
