Ok I hope this does not sound stupid but my one year old pom Fifi smells like a bag of fritos. I have bathed her in a few different products and usually once every week or two. She gets dirty playing outside with her sis. I have tried Oatmeal shampoo for sensative skin, Flea and Tick shampoo that smells like baby powder and a few others cant think of what right now. Anyway it never helps. Neither of my other dogs have this problem and I dont think its the food. Recently switched to Innova but before that she still smelling this way. Its not a horrible smell but wierd. Anyway all help would be appreciated.

Some dogs just have an odor to them after a few days after a bath. Mine does. Or it could be the anal glands needing expressing. My poodle never stinks. Just my terrier mix.

Smell her feet..I'll bet thats where the smell is coming from. Witt's feet smell like popcorn, my mom said the same thing you did about her chi's feet smelling like fritos. I was told they have glands in their feet, I don't know if thats true, but Witt will smell fine the first day or two after a bath, then his tootsies begin to smell again. It smells just like popcorn to me...so it's not bad.
