Ranger today decided to make his official debut as a guard dog. Normally he will ferociously bark his "I am a little dog with a big bark to scare you away" bark, and just stand at the door, content with that. Today he decided to add to that. He not only barked the bark, but figured out how to open the glass door and ran outside, and scared the poor old loose dog, Daisy, a neighbors old beagle, right out of our yard! He didn't do anything to her, just kind've said, "This is my property, and I want you off of it!" It was really pretty funny!

Wow! He's getting territorial! That can be a good thing though! You won't have to worry about squirls, cats, and stray dogs....
Though I'd watch him. He may go barking at the wrong dog one day and get his tail kicked. That could be bad.

I know! The front door now gets to permanately(sp?) be locked, unless someone is on the front porch! He is normally very friendly with dogs, but I guess that is only when he knows them or he is on his leash, or he has seen them in the house or backyard or something!
