LottynTrike, i live about 45min away from Murfreesburo, and i was wondering if you knew a lot about the cleanliness of the humane societies there. Are they clean? Do they give the dogs a full checkup and treatment before placing them? Do they get their shots after they get their? i would like to know these things, i want a dog from a shelter so very bad, but the animal shelter here is poor, unclean, and down right nasty. the two dogs that i have fostered from their BOTH died from a parvo like virus. my whole yard has been bleached, and rebleached, my blankets, towels, everything has been bleached (although with the colored items i used color safe bleach, and i don't know if it has the same affect) and i don't trust my pound to get a healthy dog there. a lot of people have serious health problems with their dogs soon after they get them from our shelter, so i want to get a pup/dog from a clean shelter, so i just thought i would ask you since you are so close to my area!

also, i am praying for the man who had his dogs (aka precious family members) shot down in nashville.
