He has bronchitis. He was full of mucus the vet said and you could hear him breathing from across the room. The vet said that no doubt kennel cough was the cause of the bronchitis, but that he should be feeling better in a day or two. He received a humungous antibiotic shot in the vet's office along with amoicillin liquid, as well as a cough reliever to give him twice a day. I am so glad he is going to be okay. It's funny how quickly these animals can wiggle into your heart so deeply without you even realizing until this happens. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and concerns. Ann IP: Logged |

Glad to hear he will be OK, that must be the secondary infection my vet talked about Kennel cough leading to. When they are puppies they just don't have much of an immunity built up yet. Poor little man...hope he gets well fast. IP: Logged |
