Hi, my dog got fleas from a friends dog. I have tried bathing him in flea shampoo, have used the flea drops, and have used the flea powder on the carpeting and furniture all through the house, and still can't seem to get rid of them. Does anyone else have any ideas on what I could try? I feel so bad for my boy and want to get rid of them ASAP

Get advantage. You'll need to know your dogs weight and then go to a vet's office to buy it. (you do not need to take your dog).

Advantage is a little tube of stuff you put on your dogs skin. It will kill all the adult fleas within 2 hours, and the rest within 24hrs. It also kills the fleas in the areas that he sleeps. It is effective for 1mth cost about $20cdn.

You can also purchse a product called "petrelief". It's a spray that relieves the itchyness and can be purchase at most pet stores for $15cdn. However use the advantage first and don't go for the cheap pet store brand, especially Hertz it can cause more damage than good.

Yep! I agree! Get advantage, as it works immediately and you can literally see the fleas falling off of them. Plus get RAID FLEA KILLER PLUS. My husband and I bought a house 3 months ago and the house has thousands of them all over us (I am NOT exageratting) due to prior dogs left in the house who were untreated. It took 2 bottles of the stuff and the fleas dissapeared. Nothing else worked. No bombs of any kind worked. It is made of Chrysanthimums (misspelled) which are flowers. Since it is flower-based it is 100% safe around pets and children. It smells good as well and can be used safely on drapes and furniture as well. It is a giant purple can you can get at walmart. Hurry and get some. The flower-based ingredient knocks the fleas dead on their behinds literally. Good luck! ann
